My Story

Dianne Oxberry was a fabulous, funny and beautiful woman who I was lucky enough to call my friend. She was my dog walking bestie, we walked and talked about anything and everything, but when it came to talking about her health, we both dismissed the signs of ovarian cancer that were quietly creeping up on her.

The Dianne Oxberry Trust (DOT) want to encourage women to talk to their GP if they feel something isn't right. More likely than not, it will be something or nothing, but what if it's not. Early diagnosis is key to a better outcome. Dianne's came too late and she tragically died just 10 days after being diagnosed with ovarian cancer.

I am a proud Trustee of DOT and feel determined to try and prevent other families from going through what Dianne's family went through. Please, if you can sponsor me (however small) to run the London Marathon in honour of Dianne and help the Dianne Oxberry Trust raise awareness of the symptoms of Ovarian Cancer, that would be truly wonderful, thank you.
